Hunting

Searching, hunting, yearning for the prey
Claw digging, ripping through the Earth.
Run, duck, pounce, stay
Heart beating, tail swishing, revel in the search.

Night is dark, moon is bright,
Wind is blowing scents on the air.
Shadows frolic in the night
Running, chasing, the need is there.

Catching,ripping, make the kill.
Feast of flesh, warm and dripping.
Chew and swallow, not enough to fill.
Back on the hunt, still searching.

Never enough, ever too small
Always hunting, hiding, killing.
Want to hunt, must answer the call.
Ever and ever onward and rippin.

Hiding in the shadows, moving with the wind,
Always triumphant in the hunt.
Feasting on prey, looking up with a bloody grin
Hunger, gnawing, needs that can be fun.
